Umuzi News (  Umuzi =Root in English ) is a Burundian Investigative Journal dedicated to covering Local and International topics. It focuses on topics related to Climate Change, Agriculture, Education, Health, Human Rights, and Economy issues within Burundi and worldwide. 

This Newspaper was founded by Burundian Journalist , Gaspard Maheburwa, in October 2024 and has been approved by the Conseil National de la Communication ( CNC) in March , the 3^rd 2025 under the Decision Number 100/CNC/082/2025.

Umuzi News publishes in French and English.
